Moldova expels 5 Russian Diplomats, accuses Russia of spying

pic_8e14ec157c384d5433fac8828c1e5580Moldova has announced it has expelled 5 Russian Diplomats. This was announced by the Moldova Foreign Ministry on Monday, 29th of May, reports the Russian State news agency TASS. They have been declared “persons non-grata”.

“We have received the document and are studying it. Cannot comment any further at this time” said Russian ambassador in Moldova Farit Mukhametshin.

The names of the diplomats are not mentioned, but according to INTERFAX, among them is an assistant of the military attache in Moldova Alexander Grudin. In march of this year Moldavian Inteligence has announced that he’s maintaining contact with former member of Moldavian Parliament Yuriy Bolbachan, who was arrested as part of the investigation related to Russian spying.
